

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and efficiency of plant equipment.
Supervise and lead the maintenance team, including technicians, engineers, and contractors.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all maintenance activities.
Plan and oversee routine inspections, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs of mechanical systems.
Manage spare parts inventory and procurement to ensure availability while controlling costs.
Coordinate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
Implement and promote best practices for energy conservation and sustainability.
Maintain maintenance records and ensure accurate documentation of work orders, inspections, and modifications.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives through the adoption of new technologies and maintenance methodologies.
Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and regulatory bodies as required.
Equipment Expertise:
Candidates must have hands-on experience in the repair and maintenance of the following industrial equipment:
Process Equipment: Reactors, Agitators, Filters, Distillation Units
Pumps & Vacuum Systems: Vacuum Pumps, Dry Vacuum Pumps, oil ring vacuum pump.
Heat & Fluid Systems: Thermic Fluid Heaters, Boilers, Compressors, VAM (Vapor Absorption Machines), cooling tower, Chiller, Nitrogen plant.
Water & Effluent Treatment: RO Plants, Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), Multi-Effect Evaporators (MEE), Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR), Agitated Thin Film Dryers (ATFD), DM water Plant, Softener plant.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or TPM methodologies.
Knowledge of PSM.
Experience in managing capital projects and plant shutdowns.
Work Environment:
Manufacturing plant environment with exposure to chemicals, heat, noise, and industrial machinery.
Requires occasional on-call availability for emergency maintenance needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
8+ years of experience in maintenance management within a chemical manufacturing or process industry.
Strong knowledge of maintenance strategies, including predictive, preventive, and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM).
Familiarity with industrial equipment such as pumps, heat exchangers, boilers, compressors, and process automation systems.
In-depth understanding of safety regulations (OSHA, NFPA, etc.) and hazardous chemical handling.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and team management abilities.
