Job Summary

As a Developer (AWS Engineer), you will contribute to the development and implementation of large-scale data solutions on the AWS platform. Your role will involve hands-on programming using Node.js and Python, as well as building and managing data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with onshore teams.

Responsibilities

• Independently drive development tasks related to AWS Cloud solutions.
• Develop and implement large-scale Data Lakes and data analytics platforms on AWS.
• Build data pipelines utilizing various AWS services such as Redshift, RDS, S3, Glue, EMR, and more.
• Conduct data profiling to identify data quality issues and maintain thorough documentation of your work.
• Collaborate effectively with onshore and offshore teams following Agile methodologies.
• Manage source code using systems like GitHub or AWS CodeCommit and implement CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 5-6 years of overall IT experience.
  • At least 3 years in an AWS Cloud environment.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong hands-on development experience in Node.js and Python.
  • Proficient in AWS services such as Glue ETL, Glue Data Catalog, EMR, PySpark, S3, and SQL scripts.
  • Experience with data profiling and documentation.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and distributed delivery models.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Databricks for data pipelines.
• Knowledge of Starburst for semantic layers on AWS.
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration in enterprise environments.

Experience

• 5-6 years of IT experience with a focus on AWS Cloud and data analytics.
