Opportunity Dossier|RPG Group|20 August 2024|Page 3/6 2.0 Role Description | Key Deliverables Reporting to the Group Head – Corporate Finance, the DGM – Corporate Finance will manage Mergers & Acquisitions, Investor Relations, fund raising and equity-related activities and special projects. The role offers access to top management, industry experts and the opportunity to develop and showcase performance at the highest levels. Some of the key deliverables of the individual will include the following: 1. Group Mergers & Acquisitions: a. Identify, source, evaluation the feasibility of possible M&A opportunities. b. Work on execution of M&A transactions. c. Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, bankers, lawyers, accounting firms for DD, etc. d. End to end deal responsibility e. Create presentations, financial models, provide market intelligence for management decision making 2. Investor Relations: a. Manage investor relations for Group companies (a particular company). b. Analyse and support the company from an equity market perspective. c. Create IR strategies and programs to enhance effectiveness of the IR function d. Oversee investor relations, investor interactions, conferences and events at the group level. e. Provide market intelligence and peer benchmarking for group companies f. Creating the narrative and storyline for the company to deliver top quartile ratios 3. Corporate Finance: a. Relationship management with bankers, lawyers, investors, accounting firms, etc. b. Equity raising through QIP, Pref, Rights, etc for all group companies c. Special projects such as buyback, split, bonus, etc. Challenges: • Diversified business portfolio across multiple sectors. • Global geographic spread of RPG Group. 3.0 Desired Candidate Profile The successful candidate should have the following attributes: • Experience in handling Corporate Finance and M&A deal execution responsibilities (end to end preferred) • Exposure to Investment Banking or corporate finance within a Company / Conglomerate. • MBA from a reputed institute or Chartered Accountant.
