Job Summary

The Sales Manager for the East region will lead sales and service operations for the Radiology portfolio. This role is crucial for ensuring outstanding customer service and efficient execution in local business operations, driving profitability through effective pricing strategies, and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of a robust operating system for the direct business model, including medical devices and contrast products.
  • Coordinate with platform teams and local marketing to implement business plans and operational strategies for the Radiology and distributor business.
  • Assist in delivering scientific education initiatives that support business growth and reinforce relationships with radiology leaders, medical congresses, and professional societies.
  • Support Account Business Managers (ABMs), sales teams, and service teams in executing strategic plans to achieve sales and profitability targets in a compliant manner.
  • Liaise with supply chain, warehouse, sales, and service teams to ensure smooth fulfillment of sales and service orders.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of performance tracking plans for engineers and sales teams to maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Collaborate with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) teams to enhance modality support.
  • Oversee team processes and provide mentorship to team members.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Postgraduate degree in management; an engineering background is preferred. Degree in science or life sciences with relevant industry experience.
  • Experience: Strong experience in specialty and capital equipment sales.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Proven team leadership capability.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
    • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in medical device sales with a focus on radiology solutions would be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with scientific education initiatives and relationship-building within medical communities.

Experience

A minimum of 18-20 years of relevant experience in medical device sales or related fields is preferred.
