Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps professional with a robust cloud and systems background to work on innovative projects. This role involves building and enhancing the framework for security-as-code in a large multi-cloud environment using modern DevOps tools and processes. This is a senior-level position requiring hands-on development across multi-cloud environments to ensure security and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design & Build: Develop a DevOps framework leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD to automate security enforcement as code across multi-cloud platforms.
• Develop Controls: Create detective and corrective controls across hyperscale cloud providers such as GCP, Azure, AWS, and OCI.
• Automate Components: Develop APIs/microservices for automation of reusable components.
• Standardize Procedures: Automate security operational procedures and processes.
• Analyze & Improve: Examine software and infrastructure deployment pipelines to identify and improve security gaps.
• Create Reusable Solutions: Design and build reusable solutions for IaC (Security) scanning and collaborate with internal teams for implementation.

Qualifications

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python (preferred), Java, PowerShell, NodeJS, AngularJS, or other programming languages.
• Infrastructure Knowledge: Familiarity with infrastructure concepts and administration (Linux/Windows, DNS, Network, Firewalls).
• Cloud Experience: Advanced knowledge of one or more hyperscale cloud providers (GCP, Azure, AWS, OCI).
• IaC Tools: Understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM.
• Security Expertise: Proficient with security concepts applicable to cloud deployments.
• DevOps Tools: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Jira, Rally.
• Agile & SDLC: Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle.
• API Development: Experience in developing REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Cloud API & SDK: Strong experience in coding with Cloud APIs and SDKs, preferably in Python.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud Certifications in Azure, AWS, GCP, or OCI.
• Demonstrated security-first mindset.
• Self-motivated and a team player with a flexible approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies and adapt, with a capacity to train others.

Experience

• 10+ years in Information Technology, preferably in Unix/systems space.
• 7+ years in software development with Python and public cloud experience.
• 5+ years specifically with public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Environment

This is an onsite, full-time position based in Bangalore, Chennai, or Hyderabad. The role requires working in an office environment, focusing on collaboration and hands-on development.
