Job Summary
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis, which contributes to the organization’s financial performance. This role involves budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and providing insights for decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all month-end close activities in line with the reporting calendar.
- Provide financial reports that accurately reflect financial performance of the offering or organization being managed.
- Perform financial analyses including budgeting, trend analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling; develop recommendations based on information and results.
- Ensure forecast accuracy at the Offering level through financial modeling and analysis, providing decision-making information related to business risks and operations.
- Support the processing of manual journal vouchers (JVs), accruals, amortizations, prepaid expenses review, and purchase order management.
- Manage residual tracking and work towards better utilization, conducting utilization analysis, tracking cost optimization plans, and supporting value attainment plans.
- Ensure complete understanding of costs at the Offering, including labor and non-labor charges.
- Assist in developing financial controls, procedures, systems, and forecasting techniques.
- Manage and respond to ad-hoc requests from business leaders, enabling them with appropriate financial information for decision-making.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with Offering leadership, operations, delivery managers, and other internal groups.
- Provide in-depth business insights and analysis regarding variances against forecast and budget.
- Collaborate with the Portfolio Finance team to build a rate card annually, which is critical for offering financial performance.
- Establish strong relationships with finance leadership and other business functions, such as controllership, corporate financial planning & analysis (FP&A), and IT.
- Provide executive support for leadership presentations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; CA or MBA preferred.
- 6 to 8 years of business finance or financial planning & analysis (FP&A) experience.
- Proficient in financial modeling and analysis techniques.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across various departments and levels.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a similar role within a corporate finance environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with financial software and tools.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
Experience
Minimum of 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in business finance or FP&A.
