Job Summary

The Embedded Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting embedded software solutions. This role is crucial for the development of software on multi-core ARM CPUs and involves collaboration with engineers and partners across various geographies to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software and device drivers for multi-core ARM CPUs.
• Support and troubleshoot real-time problems using JTAG debugging techniques.
• Utilize industry-standard software development tools, including HSW/HE debuggers and code revision systems like GIT and Gerrit.
• Write kernel space device drivers focusing on memory management units (MMU) and power management (clocks/thermal).
• Conduct board bring-up and develop drivers for peripheral buses such as SPI, I2C, and USB.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software solutions meet project requirements.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), or Computer Science (CSC).
• Experience: 3-8 years in embedded software development.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong C/C++ programming skills.
  • Professional experience in embedded software and driver development.
  • Familiarity with operating systems such as Linux, Android, QNX, or any Real-Time Operating System (RTOS).
  • Expertise in PCI RC/EP device driver development.
  • Solid understanding of computer system architecture, including core, cache, memory models, and bus architecture.
  • Experience with memory controllers like DDR, eMMC, and UFS.

Preferred Skills

• Motivated self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with engineers, partners, and customers across different geographies.

Experience

• 3-8 years of relevant experience in embedded software development and driver development.
