Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML, Data Science, or Data professional to join a newly established team within the Investment function. The role focuses on leveraging advanced AI and data techniques to enhance investment decision-making processes, evaluate data and model efficacy, and identify opportunities that contribute to alpha generation and profitability. Responsibilities

• Apply AI/ML and Data Science methodologies to investment and equity-related use cases.
• Evaluate the quality, relevance, and predictive power of investment and market data.
• Develop and assess models that generate actionable investment insights.
• Collaborate with investment teams to identify opportunities for AI-led research and decision-making.
• Evaluate model performance through backtesting, validation, and relevant investment metrics.
• Explore areas such as predictive modeling, alternative data, NLP/sentiment analysis, portfolio analytics, and investment signals.

Qualifications

• Strong background in AI/ML, Data Science, or Data.
• Relevant experience in Asset Management, Investments, Quantitative Analysis, Capital Markets, Equities, or Systematic Investing.
• Hands-on experience applying AI/Data Science techniques to investment-related problems.
• Ability to connect technical/data insights with investment outcomes and business impact.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills to work closely with investment professionals.
• Educational qualifications such as BTech, BSc, MSc, or PhD in relevant fields.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with predictive modeling, NLP, sentiment analysis, portfolio analytics, and investment signals.
• Familiarity with backtesting frameworks and investment metrics.
• Knowledge of alternative data sources and their application in investment strategies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar.
• Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional teams.

Experience

• Relevant experience in Asset Management, Investments, Quantitative Analysis, Capital Markets, or Systematic Investing.
• Hands-on experience applying AI/ML/Data Science to investment-related problems.
• Typically, 3+ years of professional experience in related roles.
