Job Summary

The DGM-Litigation will play a crucial role in supporting the organization’s legal team by managing various litigation activities and assignments effectively and in a timely manner. This position requires a pragmatic and holistic approach to legal challenges, ensuring that the organization navigates its legal obligations efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Handle and follow up on court cases as required, coordinating with other departments to obtain timely information and documents necessary for court proceedings.
  • Collaborate with external advocates to manage the organization’s litigations pending before various courts, including RERA, Consumer Forums, Civil Court, High Court, and Supreme Court.
  • Track and monitor all litigations, providing timely updates on day-to-day court proceedings.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor of Law (LLB).
  • Experience: Minimum of 12-22 years in the legal profession, specifically in court practice and the real estate sector.
  • Strong understanding of litigation processes and legal frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external legal counsel.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
