Job Summary

The Power BI Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive Power BI reports, dashboards, and datasets that facilitate informed business decision-making. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure BI solutions align with organizational needs and enhance data-driven decision processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and datasets to support business decision-making.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
• Optimize and maintain data models for performance and scalability.
• Implement data transformations using Power Query and Data Analysis Expressions (DAX).
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across BI solutions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate Power BI solutions with other platforms.
• Leverage Power Automate (if applicable) to automate data refreshes, alerts, and workflow processes.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL queries, and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes.
• Experience in connecting Power BI to various data sources such as SQL Server, Excel, and APIs.
• Knowledge of Power Automate for workflow automation (good to have).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data visualization best practices.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and solutions.
• Additional certifications in Power BI or related technologies.

Experience

6-7 years of relevant experience in Power BI development and business intelligence solutions.

Environment

This role is based in either Noida or Bangalore with a Work From Office (WFO) hybrid model. Candidates must be local to these areas.
