Job Description

City Head for XSEED India (Bangalore / Hyderabad / Chennai / Pune) Singapore headquartered XSEED Education's flagship business is SuperTeacher, a comprehensive school based edtech program built on the XSEED method. The program enhances conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills, English language expression, and confidence. The XSEED PreK-8 academic program runs through schools and aligns with all major International and Indian standards (e.g. CBSE). The results of the program indicate that XSEED children perform better on problem-solving by +20% or more, versus other students, and improve by up to +50% by the time they finish middle school. XSEED has reached two million children, upskilled and certified over 100,000 teachers, in several countries including India, the Philippines, and the Middle East. Problem Statement: To drive revenue growth in target geography by acquiring mid-large private schools and expanding the geographical coverage. Role: We are looking for a sales leader who can expand XSEED school partnerships in target geography and independently launch clusters. The person will be responsible for influencing and closing deals with School Owners, in a highly competitive market. The person will need to work as a self starter and build a team of Interns and Area Managers as per requirements of the business. The Job: ● Build a deep understanding of XSEED product proposition and the overall school education market ● Identify opportunities in target geography and surrounding areas in order to build a robust pipeline of prospect schools ● Identify School Owners and conduct impactful meetings to convince them about XSEED’s school transformation program. ● Partner with in-house Academic Experts to align and convince school’s Academic team including Director / Principal / Headmistress / HoD ● Attend promotional and networking events in the target geography to improve XSEED’s brand presence and generate inbound inquires ● Deliver consistently exceeding sales closures month-on-month and ensure team’s success ● Collaborate with internal functions in order to complete the implementation and ensure collections, in a timely manner The Person ● 5+ years of experience selling to schools ● Exceptional communication + presentation skills and very high level of energy, integrity and perseverance ● Prior experience in an expansion / city launch role in a startup is preferred Education: ● MBA from Tier 2/3 B school or Engineering from premier institute ● Our Values: We live and breathe the following 4 core values - Be true, Try new, Care Now and Stay till Wow If you fit the above description and are interested please email career@xseededucation.com or Whatsapp Divakar on +91 8792918261
