We are expanding our operation team and are looking for a Quality Control Manager to lead the Quality Assurance Team. Job Description: Quality Control Manager Job Location: Turbhe, Navi Mumbai Experience: 4-6 years (must have dairy and ice-cream industry experience) Job Roles/ Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for overall Quality Control of products. 2. Draft / review / modify QC policies and procedures. 3. Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of raw and packaging materials to ensure finished product quality. 4. Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues, if any. 5. Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards. 6. Responsible for monitoring OPRP & CCP and for all kinds of food safety audits. 7. Responsible for monitoring and product food safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process. 8. Ensures the correct SOP for products and implementation of ISO 22000 are met during processing. 9. Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to assess production, performance and identify areas for improvement. 10. Issuing of final product specification and mixing instructions. 11. Need to develop and maintain procedures which assure product quality including ingredient and packaging control, product testing, process and rework control, food safety plan, manufacturing procedures and cleaning and sanitation controls. Requirements: 1. Bachelor’s or Master’s in Food Science and Technology/ Dairy Technology, IDD 2. Excellent knowledge of MS Office. 3. Demonstrate ability to develop and execute production strategies, plans and initiatives. 4. Analytical mindset with ability to analyze data, identify trends and make data driven decisions. 5. Knowledge about FSMS / ISO 22000/ HACCP. 6. Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques. 7. Strong problem solving and decision making abilities, especially in high pressure situations.
