Job Summary
The Brand Manager will play a key role in developing and executing brand strategies, overseeing brand performance, and ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints. This role will report directly to the Head of Marketing and will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive brand growth and success. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales and marketing background and a proven track record in brand management within the consumer goods or mattress industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of brand strategies, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns and activities to drive brand awareness, brand love, and consumer loyalty.
- Translate brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, creative, and sales, to translate consumer insights into actionable marketing plans and product launches.
- Monitor brand health metrics and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Monitor market trends, research consumer markets, and competitors' activities; use data and insights to drive decision-making and optimize brand performance.
- Manage the brand's digital presence and collaborate with the digital marketing team.
- Lead content creation with the creative team for campaigns, social media, and product launches.
- Oversee budgets, spending, and resource allocation to ensure efficient marketing operations.
- Support new product development (NPD) to maintain brand consistency and consumer appeal.
Qualifications
- Education: MBA/PGDM from a leading institute.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in FMCG/FMCD; recent experience in Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) is an added advantage.
- Skills:
- Customer obsession: Ability to immerse in customer needs, both stated and unstated, and translate them into actionable business strategies.
- Digital Savvy: Expertise in thriving in today’s cluttered digital landscape.
- Self-starter and hustling attitude: Ability to move the entire organization constructively to make things happen.

- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and working within budget.
- Experience in Brand Marketing, media planning (online and offline), NPD, social media, and e-commerce.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with customer relationship management tools.
- Familiarity with market research tools and data analytics.

- 3-4 years of experience demonstrating impact created through first-principle thinking, hustle, and curiosity.
