Job Summary

The Oracle EBS Technical role is critical for implementing and maintaining Oracle E-Business Suite solutions. The candidate will be responsible for designing efficient program units, developing PL/SQL components, and ensuring seamless integration with business requirements, contributing to the successful operation of Oracle applications in the organization.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill onsite requirements by working directly from the customer office in Delhi/NCR.
• Provide a complete understanding of Oracle Apps and E-Business Suite architecture including underlying table structures and their usage.
• Develop and maintain Oracle custom code and interfaces for Oracle Forms-based applications in line with business requirements.
• Craft PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers to implement complex business logic.
• Utilize strong experience in RICE (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, and Extensions) components for various projects.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to develop appropriate technical designs based on business requirements.
• Document all technical designs and annotate actual development for future reference.
• Conduct comprehensive unit testing and integration testing with custom components and the larger Oracle application.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Shell scripting, Java, SQL tuning, and design of Oracle Application Framework (OAF) pages.
• Gain experience with R12 and 11i series, specifically with modules like Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), Inventory (INV), and Order Management (OM).
• Engage in solid business process analysis and requirement re-engineering.
• Show proficiency in Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports (BI / XML / RDF), Oracle Workflow, and Oracle RDBMS.
• Ensure a good understanding of performance tuning and familiarity with the APPS data model and Oracle coding standards.
• Exhibit strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in Oracle EBS Technical roles.
• Full-time employment status with a PF number is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of Oracle applications and the ability to work on complex projects.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL and RICE components.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Shell scripting.
• Familiarity with Java programming.
• Understanding of SQL tuning techniques.
• Experience with Oracle Application Framework (OAF).
• Familiarity with Oracle Reports (BI/XML/RDF) and Oracle Workflow mechanisms.

Experience

• 8 years of relevant experience in Oracle EBS Technical positions, particularly in custom code development and interfaces.

Environment

• The role will take place at the customer office located in Kailash Colony, Zamrudpur, New Delhi.
