Job Description
Scrabble has been mandated to hire a Techno Commercial Head (Properiety Commodity) for a leading EV Automotive company based in Delhi.
Major responsibilities include:
End to End responsibility related to Supplier actions
Supplier relationship management
New source identification, techno-commercial assessment & Introduction
General Purchase agreement & Tooling agreement sign off with suppliers
Technical review sign off with suppliers including Warranty agreement
Collaborate with Design & Supplier team for Defining the design philosophy of
vehicle
Cost optimization during design phase
Proto planning for ensuring timely validation
Commercials: hands on experience for ZBC, Cost negotiations, Benchmarking, Cost
avoidance & other levers for cost settlement
Tooling & Part cost optimization
Packaging & Transportation cost optimization
Development of Proprietary parts, hands on experience related to APQP with special
focus on PPAP & Quality maturation
Understanding of Tooling & Gauges
New model introduction & ramp up
Cost optimization inline with GM & MM project targets, which will help the project
to be cost competitive in the market
Defining supplier capacity as per Annual Plan with an eye on the long term volume
projections, this will help in phase wise development & ramp up. Seasonal demands
need to be ensured as part of Capacity planning
Engineering change management with keen focus on all defined deliverables
including Obsolescence
Scientific Scheduling & Procurement of parts from supplier as per Annual plan
Monitoring supplier performance & related dashboards
Working knowledge on SAP
Inventory management
PPM monitoring & ensuring necessary Quality gates at supplier end for supply of
defined quality product
Warranty reduction
Contingency plans for critical sources
Working knowledge with a wide range of Proprietary suppliers & not limited to a single
category supplier. Requirement is from automobile industry with exposure to 4W segment
Communication skills should be good as the candidate will be representing our Org with the
best in industry Suppliers. They would be required to interact with the Sr Management of
these suppliers
Team work should be part of the persons working culture as the interaction with internal &
external agencies will be high
