Job Summary
The System Test Automation Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the functionality, performance, and reliability of Electronic Control Units (ECUs) through black box testing. The role is crucial in enhancing testing efficiency and improving product quality in the automotive domain.
Responsibilities
- Execute black box testing on Electronic Control Units (ECUs) to ensure measurable functionality.
- Design, develop, and implement test cases targeting performance and reliability.
- Enhance testing efficiency through development using Python scripting.
- Document test results comprehensively, report defects, and track issues using tools like RTC/JIRA.
- Participate in test planning and review processes to cover all requirements thoroughly.
- Continuously improve and optimize testing processes and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Degree in Engineering, specifically in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), or Computer Science Engineering (CSE). Civil and Mechanical Engineering degrees will not be considered.
- Experience: 3-5 years in system test automation or related fields.
- Strong proficiency in Python scripting.
- Knowledge of embedded systems testing, especially in the automotive sector.
- Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks.
- Experience in documenting and tracking issues to ensure transparency and resolution efficiency.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CAPL scripting for test automation.
- Knowledge of various test automation frameworks relevant to embedded systems and automotive software.
Experience
