Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AWS Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This role will focus on leveraging AWS services to enhance our IoT infrastructure and manage edge device integrations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Work with AWS Greengrass and AWS IoT Core to develop and maintain IoT solutions.
• Integrate and manage edge devices, such as CT-45, XT-1, and XT-5, connecting them to the IoT Core.
• Implement and manage connectivity to IoT Core using MQTT protocol.
• Create, manage, and deploy AWS Lambda functions for various applications.
• Utilize Kafka for data streaming and messaging services in conjunction with AWS solutions.
• Collaborate closely with other teams to ensure seamless operations and address any technical challenges.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AWS Greengrass and AWS IoT Core.
• Solid experience with edge devices and their configurations.
• Familiarity with MQTT for IoT communication.
• Experience in developing and managing AWS Lambda functions.
• Knowledge of Kafka technology and its implementation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Any additional AWS certifications related to IoT.
• Experience in a similar role in the IoT or technology sector.

Experience

• Previous experience as an AWS Engineer or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with IoT architectures and edge computing environments is a plus.
