Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled software development professional with 6 to 9 years of experience who is proficient in .NET technologies to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications. The ideal candidate will work on creating and integrating REST APIs, microservices, and cloud solutions while ensuring robust test automation and clean code practices. This role requires strong technical expertise in both backend and frontend development along with experience in CI/CD pipelines and agile working methodologies. Candidates located in Bangalore and comfortable with a work mode of 3 days from the office are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain applications using .NET Core, .NET 6, or .NET 8 frameworks.
• Design and build REST APIs and microservices while following development best practices.
• Write efficient unit and integration test cases to ensure quality deliverables.
• Create and maintain front-end components using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript; proficiency in at least one JavaScript framework (React/NextJs preferred or Angular) is desirable.
• Utilize Git for source control and work with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions, along with deployment tools like Octopus or similar.
• Manage and interact with relational databases (MSSQL/Oracle) and contribute to database design and optimization.
• Leverage cloud technologies (Azure/AWS preferred) to deploy and manage applications and ensure robust performance monitoring using tools like Splunk/Observe and AppDynamics.

Qualifications

• Technical Expertise: Strong experience with .NET Core, .NET 6, and .NET 8 frameworks for application development.
• Programming Skills: Expert in C# with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles (OOPS) and design patterns.
• API & Microservices: Proven ability to design, build, and consume RESTful APIs and implement microservices architectures.
• Test Automation: Proficient in writing and maintaining unit and integration tests.
• Frontend Development: Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript along with experience in one of the popular JavaScript frameworks (React/NextJs or Angular).
• CI/CD & Deployment: Experience with source control using Git and build tools like TeamCity, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions; familiarity with deployment tooling such as Octopus.
• Databases: Hands-on experience with relational databases like MSSQL or Oracle.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience working in agile environments with excellent communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with streaming platforms such as Kafka.
• Familiarity with cloud services (preferably Azure or AWS) and cloud-native application development.
• Exposure to performance monitoring tools like AppDynamics.
• Additional proficiency in one of the modern JavaScript frameworks (React/NextJs preferred or Angular).

Experience

• 6 to 9 years of hands-on experience in software development with a strong focus on .NET technologies and microservices.
• Prior experience working in an agile development environment is advantageous.

Environment

• Location: Bangalore (Candidates must be located in Bangalore).
• Work Mode: This role requires attendance at the office for 3 days per week while potentially offering flexibility on other days.
