Workato Developer
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Workato Developer with at least 7 years of experience in integration development. This role is focused on building scalable integrations, automating workflows, and optimizing business processes using the Workato platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Workato (minimum 2+ years) and possess an in-depth understanding of Workato-Mulesoft transformation workflows. A valid Workato certification is mandatory, ensuring the candidate’s strong platform expertise.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain integrations: Build end-to-end integration solutions using the Workato platform for both cloud and on-premise systems.
- Workflow automation: Create and manage recipes, connectors, and reusable assets to streamline and automate business processes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business and technical teams to translate requirements into robust, scalable, and secure automation solutions.
- API Integration: Handle integrations via APIs (REST, SOAP, etc.) to connect diverse systems and data sources.
- Workato-Mulesoft integration: Develop and maintain integration flows between Workato and Mulesoft, leveraging best practices for data transformation.
- Monitoring and documentation: Monitor integration jobs, promptly resolve issues in real-time, and document integration designs, architecture, and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years in integration/automation development and at least 2 years of hands-on experience with Workato.
- Certification: Valid Workato Certification is mandatory.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in APIs, JSON, XML, and data mapping/transformation techniques.
- Problem-solving: Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
- Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Remote work capability: Self-driven and capable of working independently in a remote setup.
Preferred Skills
- Mulesoft expertise: Working knowledge of Mulesoft and experience with Workato-Mulesoft integration workflows is a significant advantage.
Experience
- A minimum of 7 years of overall experience in integration and automation development.
- At least 2 years of direct, hands-on experience with the Workato platform.
Environment
- Work Setting: The role is designed for a remote setup, offering flexibility while requiring proactive self-management.
- Collaborative Approach: Although remote, the candidate will engage with both business and technical teams to ensure seamless integration solutions.
