Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
5+ years of experience as a Microsoft D365 F&O Finance Consultant/Lead
1. Financial Module Expertise: Being the subject matter expert in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance
and Operations, with In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and its modules,
including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Budgeting, Financial Reporting,
Bank and Cash Management, Management Reporter/FRx, Project Accounting
2. Solution Design: Collaborating with business stakeholders and financial teams to design and
implement financial solutions in Dynamics 365 that align with the organization's financial and
accounting requirements.
3. Configuration and Customization: Configuring and customizing financial modules within Dynamics
365, including chart of accounts, financial dimensions, ledgers, and other financial elements.
4. Integration: Ensuring seamless integration between Dynamics 365 Finance and external financial
systems, such as banks, payment gateways, and other financial tools.
5. Reporting and Analytics: Developing and optimizing financial reporting and analytics within
Dynamics 365 Finance, including balance sheets, income statements, and financial dashboards.
6. Compliance and Regulations: Ensuring that financial processes and reporting within Dynamics 365
Finance comply with industry regulations and accounting standards.
7. Optimization: Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, enhance efficiency, and
reduce operational costs within Dynamics 365 Finance.
8. Training and Support: Providing training and support to finance consultants’ and end-users to
ensure they can effectively use Dynamics 365 Finance.
9. Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving complex financial and accounting issues within the
Dynamics 365 system.
10. Documentation: Maintaining comprehensive documentation of financial processes,
configurations, and best practices.
11. Budget Management: Overseeing budgeting and forecasting processes within Dynamics 365
Finance, and ensuring that the system supports the financial planning needs of the organization.
12. Vendor Management: Collaborating with vendors and external partners to implement financial
solutions and integrations effectively.
13. Compliance and Security: Ensuring data security and compliance with financial data by
implementing proper access controls and data protection measures.
Lead D365 F&O implementations from analysis phase and onward with little supervision from the
Functional Solution Architect in a highly visible, client facing role
Define functional requirement and design documents that developers can use for enhancements;
Finalize and sign-off on FRD and FDD; Perform unit and system test scripts, and deployment plans
Organize and manage entire training cycle; Train power users and end users on efficient use of the
solution, share ‘tips and tricks’
Participate in pre-sales activities including proposal development and client presentations.
Travel to client-site when necessary
Experience with SCM is an asset.
