Job Title: Warehouse and Production Manager

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse and Production Manager to oversee both warehouse operations and production activities. This role is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, meeting production goals, maintaining inventory accuracy, and fostering a productive and safe environment in both the warehouse and production areas. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams to drive business objectives.
Warehouse Management Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, and movement of finished product to other locations.
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and performance targets.
- Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to improve efficiency and safety.
- Manage inventory levels, perform regular stock audits, and address discrepancies.
- Monitor and optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to maximize capacity.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring timely and accurate shipments of orders.
- Track warehouse performance through key metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Collaborate with other departments to meet overall business objectives.
Production Management Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and scheduling production activities to meet demand and align with warehouse operations.
- Monitor daily production operations to ensure efficiency and minimal downtime.
- Ensure compliance with production and quality control standards.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to minimize defects and improve product quality.
- Supervise, train, and mentor production staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Collect and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare regular reports on production metrics and suggest actionable strategies to improve performance.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to align production goals with business objectives.
- Identify and resolve production issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 2.5+ years of experience in warehouse and production management.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and production management systems.
- Ability to analyze production data and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
