Sr. Application Developer BigQuery

Job Summary

The Sr. Application Developer BigQuery will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions using Google BigQuery. The role involves creating and optimizing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, building dashboards and reports with Power BI, and leveraging various cloud services to support business intelligence and analytics needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring data quality, accessibility, and security, contributing to informed decision-making within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes for large-scale data integration using BigQuery.
• Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all data platforms.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve data-related issues and bottlenecks.
• Document data processes, workflows, and best practices for internal use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in application development with a focus on data solutions.
• Proven expertise in ETL development and data pipeline management.
• Strong experience with Google BigQuery and related cloud data services.
• Proficiency in building reports and dashboards using Power BI.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with additional cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of Python, SQL, or other scripting languages.
• Familiarity with data warehousing and data modeling concepts.
• Experience in Agile or Scrum environments.
• Certifications in Google Cloud Platform or relevant technologies.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in ETL development, Power BI, and cloud services.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering data-driven solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Salary

• Estimated salary range: ₹18,00,000 – ₹22,00,000 per annum (INR).
