Job Summary

The Head of AI will lead AI initiatives focused on delivering real-time, intelligent, and secure healthcare solutions. This role is pivotal in architecting and owning the roadmap for AI systems while ensuring excellence in scalable infrastructure and DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML systems from model research and development to production deployment and performance monitoring.
• Architect AI services utilizing Python, LangGraph, CrewAI, and modern microservices principles.
• Establish and scale MLOps pipelines to support AI initiatives.
• Define and enforce DevSecOps practices across AI systems to ensure robust security, compliance, and monitoring.
• Build integrations between backend systems and Agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or similar tools.
• Architect service flows to manage LLM orchestration, memory, vector search, and agent coordination.
• Mentor a growing team of AI/ML engineers while defining best practices in AI experimentation, evaluation, and deployment.
• Drive innovation in healthcare NLP, real-time prediction engines, recommendation systems, and personalized care workflows.
• Own end-to-end observability and performance tuning for all AI/ML services deployed in production.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degrees (Masters/PhD) preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5+ years leading AI/ML or MLOps functions.
• Hands-on experience with microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with Agentic AI frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, or similar technologies.
• Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs), vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, FAISS), and memory persistence layers.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and foundational DevOps practices (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of AI frameworks such as OpenAI, Anthropic, HuggingFace, or fine-tuned open-source LLMs (e.g., Mistral, Mixtral, LLaMA).
• Exposure to streaming architectures and WebSocket or gRPC-based communication patterns.
• Experience in building or deploying AI-powered agents for automation tasks or decision-making systems.
• Contributions to open-source AI or workflow automation projects may be advantageous.

Experience
