Job Summary

The Head of Platform will play a pivotal role in cultivating partnerships, building community, and orchestrating events that drive engagement with AI founders and researchers. The primary objective is to attract the right founders to Boundless before they initiate their fundraising efforts, thereby fostering a vibrant ecosystem around AI development.

Responsibilities

• Partnership Management:

  • Establish and nurture relationships with key players in the AI landscape including Anthropic, NVIDIA, OpenAI, Google DeepMind, and leading Indian AI companies.
  • Develop and implement joint programs that enhance collaboration, such as model credit programs and co-built events.
  • Engage with senior leadership from various organizations to strengthen partnerships.

• Community Building:

  • Create a high-impact Boundless community focused on meaningful engagement rather than mere membership.
  • Leverage initial connections with 500 founders and researchers to foster deeper relationships and ongoing engagement.
  • Manage themed WhatsApp groups to facilitate discussion and maintain community engagement.

• Event Design and Execution:

  • Design and execute events tailored to the Boundless ethos, including closed-door working sessions and researcher dinners.
  • Coordinate logistics and ensure post-event follow-ups to maintain community momentum.

• Content and Brand Development:

  • Oversee the annual content calendar producing market reports, newsletters, and founder stories.
  • Ensure a high standard of editorial quality for all community-facing content while collaborating with content and social media teams.

Qualifications

• Experience: 8-12 years in partnerships, community building, or brand management with at least 3 years in the AI or venture-related sectors.
• Venture Fund Knowledge: Familiarity with venture capital processes, including deal flow and founder relationships.
• Proven Partnership Skills: Demonstrated success in pitching and closing deals with major tech companies or research institutions.
• AI Landscape Fluency: Ability to engage on AI model capabilities and current research trends.
• Community Management Expertise: Proven track record of building and scaling communities with concrete outcomes.
• Multitasking Ability: Skilled in managing multiple initiatives simultaneously with minimal oversight.
• Interpersonal Skills: Comfortable as the primary representative for Boundless in high-stakes environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working closely with venture funds.
• Established network within the AI community and related sectors.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.

Experience

8 to 12 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 3 years specifically in AI or venture-related roles.

Environment

This role is full-time and based in Bangalore. The position requires active engagement with both internal and external stakeholders to foster partnerships and community interactions.
