Sr Analyst II Financial Planning & Analysis

Job Summary

The Sr Analyst II in Financial Planning & Analysis plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and analysis. This position is essential for providing insights that drive decision-making and support the financial performance of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all month-end close activities in line with the DXC reporting calendar.
  • Provide financial reports that accurately reflect the financial performance of the offering/organization being managed.
  • Perform financial analyses including budgeting, trend analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling; develop recommendations based on findings.
  • Ensure forecast accuracy at the offering level through financial modeling and analysis, providing decision-making information related to risks and operations.
  • Support the processing of manual journal entries, accruals, amortizations, and prepaid expenses review.
  • Manage residual tracking and work towards better utilization, including cost optimization plans and key performance indicators (KPIs) like utilization and cost per person (CPP).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; CA or MBA preferred.
  • 4 to 6 or more years of business finance or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with leadership and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting tools and software.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with financial controls, procedures, and forecasting techniques.
  • Familiarity with rate card development and management.
  • Knowledge of key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to financial performance.

Experience

  • 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in business finance or FP&A.
