UI/UX Design Intern

Company Overview

Contineu is building the next generation of AI-enabled operating systems for construction sites. We utilise computer vision technology to extract information regarding the progress, quality, safety, and operational processes of construction sites from helmet-mounted 360 cameras.

Job Summary

We're looking for a UI/UX Design Intern to join our team full-time at our Bangalore office. This is a paid six-month internship opportunity. While we prefer in-person collaboration, we're open to remote work arrangements.

Responsibilities

• UI/UX Design: Create and enhance user-friendly and engaging designs for Contineu's mobile and web applications.
• Branding & Visual Content: Develop and maintain brand assets, including illustrations, merchandise designs, and marketing materials.
• Website Design: Design and build visually engaging web pages.
• Design Consistency: Ensure consistent designs across all platforms and touchpoints.
• Iterative Process: Efficiently incorporate feedback to refine designs and enhance user experience.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Framer/Webflow.
• Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
• Experience designing for mobile apps, website design, and branding.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, collaboration, and the ability to articulate design decisions clearly and effectively.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating relevant design skills.

Experience

• Entry-level; No prior professional experience required, but any relevant internships or projects would be a plus.

Job Type: Full-time paid internship

Stipend: 25,000/month

Duration: 6 months

Work Arrangement: Primarily in-person preferred, remote options available
