Qualification:

M Tech / MS / B-Tech (reputed Institute)

Exposure to Mechatronics or Robotics will be an advantage.

Candidates from Automotive or allied industry will be preferred.

 

Experience:

Min 10+ years of R&D Design of Special Purpose Machine.

 

Location:

KalaAmb, Himachal Pradesh or Mumbai.

Objective:

The objective is to design, innovate, develop and engineer products, creating digital or print drawings and designing fully-functional product to go on floor for Production at cost effective manner.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Job Description:

 

• Conceptualize the Product, Modification in the existing product.
• Developing new products based on the future requirements of company
• Preparing the Design Layout of Machines, Engineering equipment & products.
• Setting design requirements based on briefs from internal teams and external partners

• Research for new products using various tools & techniques.
• Developing concepts by Innovative and Creative thinking.
• 3D modelling & Assemblies to actually analyze the product. Use 3D modeling software to design products and components
• Interacting with manufacturing team / vendors for design related issues and ability to discuss and come up with solutions.

 

• Provide direction and guidance to Product design team to meet timely deliveries.
• Ensure feasibility of product before going in on production floor.
• Improve the design of existing products; reducing cost of Products through developments and innovations.
• Validate Product designs, identify constraints and provide corrective actions.
• Develop best practice to ensure smooth and continuous product development.

 

•  Recommend new technologies and tools to optimize product design process.
• Implement Process Improvement to ensure Product Quality.
• Discussing & solving complex problems with manufacturing team, vendors & customers. Designing and implementing cost-effective equipment modifications to improve, safety, reliability & to be competitive in the market.

 

• Effective utilization of Materials to design efficient and cost effective products.
• Design & development of Prototypes before products hits the production floor.
• To work closely with the Automation department to make efficient products under development
• To provide thought Leadership to team.
