1. ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT
Position Title: Group Head HR Location: Mumbai
Indicative Level: Senior Management Function: Human Resources
Reports to: Company Heads and dotted reporting to Group CEO Team Size: 10
2. POSITION SUMMARY
The Group Head – Human Resources will serve as the strategic HR leader for the ICS Group, responsible for shaping and driving HR strategy across all business units. This role ensures alignment of people, culture, talent, and organizational development initiatives with the Group’s long term objectives. The position requires a strong business mindset, proven leadership capabilities, and the ability to scale HR systems in a multi business environment.
3. KEY RESULT AREAS/ KEY DELIVERABLES
• Develop and execute the Group-wide HR strategy aligned with corporate goals
• Advise top leadership on workforce planning, HR policies, organizational structure, and people priorities
• Create leadership hiring frameworks and succession pipelines for critical roles
• Design and implement Group-level performance management systems
• Lead capability-building programs and leadership development initiatives.
• Conduct organizational diagnostics and recommend structural improvements
• Design competitive compensation structures aligned with industry benchmarks.
• Manage annual appraisal cycles, salary revisions, incentive plans, and retention programs
• Build a strong, inclusive, and high performance work culture across the Group.
• Strengthen employer branding and employee experience initiatives.
• Ensure smooth functioning of HR operations: payroll, onboarding, exit management, HRIS, etc
• Oversee compliance with labour laws, statutory regulations, and company policies
• Collaborate with CXOs, business heads, and external partners.
4. POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Level of Education
MBA/PG HR
Experience 15–25 years of HR experience with at least 5–8 years in a senior leadership role.
