Junior Architect

Job Summary

The Junior Architect will support the architectural team in designing, planning, and overseeing building projects from concept to completion. This role requires a creative and detail-oriented professional capable of translating ideas into functional and aesthetic designs. The position contributes to the organization’s success by ensuring high standards in drafting, visualization, and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of architectural drawings and plans using AutoCAD and other design tools.
• Create visual presentations, renderings, and graphics using Photoshop to communicate design concepts.
• Collaborate with senior architects and other team members on project development and documentation.
• Conduct site visits to collect measurements, assess progress, and ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Support the preparation of project proposals, reports, and construction documents.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and best practices relevant to architectural design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in architecture or a similar role.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and design.
• Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop for visualization and presentations.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with 3D modeling software such as SketchUp, Revit, or Rhino.
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and green building standards.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Bangalore.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of architectural projects.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in architectural design, drafting, and project support.

Environment

• Location: Bangalore (on-site work required).
• Work Type: Contractual engagement.
• Typical office environment with occasional site visits as required.
• Immediate start date available.

Salary

• ₹5,00,000 – ₹7,00,000 per annum (as per contract terms).
