IT ERP Automation Manager -JD Overview: As an IT Automation Manager, you develop a deep understanding of ERP functional capabilities and features as well as knowledge of how to configure and adapt the system to increase efficiency and accuracy. Objective: Lead the analysis of business processes, identify automation opportunities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the implementation of efficient and effective automation solutions. Roles and Responsibilities: ● Collaborates regularly with department leaders and business stakeholders to understand their current and desired processes in order to identify gaps in current ERP functionality. ● Conduct thorough analysis to ensure that ERP solutions meet the specific requirements. Design and configure the solutions to address the requirements of different processes. ● Ensure seamless integration of the ERP system with existing business applications and third-party software. ● Work closely with business stakeholders to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency. ● Ensure data consistency and real-time information flow across the organization. ● Manage the overall project timeline, budget, and resources for ERP implementation and other IT automation initiatives. ● Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of projects. ● Monitor system performance and provide regular reports to management, identifying areas for improvement. ● Training end-users for effective utilization of the implemented solutions. ● Manage ERP vendors and negotiate contracts for software upgrades and support services. ● Tracking, analyzing and resolving issues with ERP systems. ● Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in ERP. ● Continuously seek to improve the ERP functionality and utility to increase automation, efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of information. Candidate Profile: Qualification ● Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business, IT or a related field. Masters in business administration, Operation Management or IT/Technology Management is preferable. ● Overall 10 to 12 experience in designing and implementing automation solutions. ● Min 6 + years of demonstrable experience as a Lead IT Business Analyst with a focus on automation especially in the retail domain. ● Experience in Microsoft dynamics project implementation. ● Experience with automation tools and technologies. ● Strong understanding of business processes and their automation potential. ● Strong programming and scripting skills (SQL, Python, PowerShell, etc.). ● Sound understanding of technologies like cloud technology, client-server architecture, SaaS solutions, software development life cycle and software evaluating process. Tools/Software Skills required: ● Microsoft dynamics project implementation. ● Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar. ● Familiarity with workflow automation platforms ● Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell ● database concepts and SQL for querying and manipulating data. ● Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems Skills 1. Training and Change Management: Ability to create comprehensive documentation and conduct training sessions for end-users, facilitating a smooth transition to automated processes and ensuring user adoption. 7. Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to facilitate effective interactions between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring a shared understanding of objectives and requirements. 8.
