Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled quicksight developer to design, develop, and maintain data dashboards and reports that empower stakeholders with actionable insights. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in Amazon QuickSight, Redshift, and GCP to create intuitive and performant data visualizations. This role is integral to driving data storytelling, ensuring data quality and security, and collaborating closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Amazon QuickSight.
• Design compelling and intuitive data visualizations based on best practices in data storytelling.
• Connect to various cloud data sources such as Amazon Redshift and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Optimize dashboard performance and query efficiency.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and security by implementing measures such as row-level security and access controls.
• Stay updated with the latest Amazon QuickSight features and emerging AWS services.
• Utilize strong SQL skills to write and optimize complex queries.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in Amazon QuickSight dashboard development and data visualization.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data sources, particularly Amazon Redshift and GCP.
• Strong practical skills in SQL and complex query writing.
• Demonstrated ability to implement data security protocols including row-level security.
• Experience with ETL processes, specifically using Amazon Redshift ETL.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Additional hands-on experience with Amazon Redshift ETL processes.

Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in data visualization, dashboard development, and working with cloud-based data sources.
