Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced SAP BTP Backend Developer with strong technical expertise in developing scalable and efficient backend services using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This role is critical in ensuring seamless integration and functionality of backend systems that contribute to the organization’s goals.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services and applications on SAP BTP using the Cloud Application Programming (CAP) model.
• Create and manage Core Data Services (CDS) views, OData services, and integrations with SAP HANA and other external systems.
• Develop APIs and services using Node.js or Java (based on CAP framework).
• Handle authentication/authorization using SAP XSUAA and manage app deployment on SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry).
• Work closely with frontend/UI5 developers to ensure seamless integration.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot issues, monitor logs, and improve application performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in backend development, with at least 1-2 years in SAP BTP.
• Strong hands-on experience with the Cloud Application Programming (CAP) Model using Node.js or Java.
• Proficient in Core Data Services (CDS), OData V2/V4, and REST API development.
• Experience with SAP HANA or other SQL-based databases.
• Familiarity with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) and the Cloud Foundry environment.
• Working knowledge of Git, JIRA, and Agile methodologies.
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Educational qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
