Job Summary

The Application Security Assessment Specialist is responsible for performing security assessments on applications and their environments. This role focuses on both manual and automated testing methods to identify vulnerabilities, ensuring the integrity and security of software applications in alignment with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Manual and Automated Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) for Web, API, and Thick client applications, covering OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
• Perform manual code reviews to identify security issues and vulnerabilities.
• Execute Mobile Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), both static and dynamic.
• Gain knowledge in Infrastructure Vulnerability Assessment and configuration reviews.
• Provide insights into Container/Docker security and Cloud Audits as an additional asset.
• Communicate effectively with business users, explaining vulnerabilities in simple terms for better understanding.

Qualifications

• Experience: 4 to 6 years in Application Security assessments.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in conducting Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST).
  • Strong capability in manual code review.
  • Familiarity with Mobile VAPT (Both static and Dynamic).
  • Understanding of Infrastructure Vulnerability Assessment.
  • Knowledge of Container/Docker security and Cloud Audit.
• Certifications: CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), CRTP (Certified Red Team Professional), OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional) are preferred.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex vulnerabilities simply.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Infrastructure Vulnerability Assessment or configuration reviews.
• Knowledge in Container and Docker security.

Experience

• Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in conducting Application Security assessments.

Environment

• Position is available at ENBD Bangalore or ENBD Chennai.
• Availability to start from immediate to 15 days notice.
