Job Summary

The VP/Sr Director – Product is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end Personal Loans (PL) product portfolio, ensuring a seamless customer journey within the Loans app. This pivotal role focuses on enhancing conversion efficiency and customer experience while collaboratively achieving business outcomes alongside Credit and Business leaders. The position carries significant accountability for funnel performance, execution quality, and the scalability of products within a regulated lending context.

Responsibilities

• Own the entire PL customer journey across the App and Partner Platforms, including stages such as Discovery, Application, KYC, underwriting, Offer presentation and acceptance, Disbursal, and servicing.
• Manage the conversion funnel, turnaround time (TAT), and costs associated with the product journey to enhance effectiveness.
• Integrate with external platforms for the purpose of customer acquisition and with Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs) and Banks for capital supply.
• Jointly own disbursal volumes, revenue outcomes, and unit economics in collaboration with Credit and Marketing teams.
• Lead the PL product roadmap, focusing on customer journeys, platforms, external partners, and internal systems.
• Conduct executive-level roadmap reviews, manage trade-off discussions, and prioritize product decisions to align with organizational goals.
• Collaborate closely with Credit and Risk teams to transform credit policies into user-friendly customer experiences and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers and Analysts, establishing product vision, success metrics, and execution standards while fostering cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of product management experience, with 4–6+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong background in building and scaling consumer lending or fintech products.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of conversion funnels and business-linked metrics.
• Experience operating in regulated environments.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.

• Experience with data-driven decision-making processes.
• Strong analytical capabilities to assess product performance metrics.
• Familiarity with compliance regulations specific to lending.

Experience

• Minimum of 12 years of relevant product management experience, including substantial experience in leadership roles related to consumer lending or fintech.
