Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Vice President – Sales to lead and scale our sales organization for
Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS). The role will be responsible for driving revenue
growth, expanding key accounts, developing new business opportunities, and building long-term
strategic partnerships across domestic and international markets. The ideal candidate will bring
deep domain expertise in EMS, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in
complex B2B sales.Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
Define and execute the overall sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives.
Drive top-line revenue growth across EMS offerings including PCB assembly, box
build, system integration, ODM/JDM, and lifecycle services.
Identify new market segments, verticals, and geographies for business expansion.
Business Development & Key Accounts
Lead strategic business development initiatives with OEMs, ODMs, and global
customers.
Build and manage key/strategic accounts, ensuring long-term partnerships and repeat
business.
Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and commercial closures.
Market & Customer Engagement
Act as a senior interface with customers, understanding their product roadmaps, volume
projections, and quality expectations.
Represent the organization in industry forums, trade shows, and customer reviews.
Track market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies impacting EMS.
Leadership & Team Management
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales and business development team.
Set clear sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer focus.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with operations, supply chain, engineering, quality, and finance teams
to ensure seamless execution.
Align sales commitments with manufacturing capacity, cost structures, and delivery
timelines.
Support NPI (New Product Introduction) and customer onboarding processes.
Forecasting & Reporting
Own sales forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue reporting.
Present regular business reviews to the leadership team with actionable insights.
Key Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of EMS business models, cost structures, and manufacturing
processes.
Should have generated more than Rs. 50 crore revenue in last year from new customers
Should be handling a team for the last 4 years
Proven expertise in solution-based and consultative B2B selling.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.
Strong analytical, forecasting, and CRM skills.
Ability to manage global customers and multicultural teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
15+ years of experience in Sales / Business Development within EMS, Electronics
Manufacturing, or Contract Manufacturing.
Prior experience in a senior sales leadership role is mandatory
