Job Summary

The AWS Data Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining data solutions on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. This position is integral to ensuring the organization leverages data effectively to meet its business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into AWS data storage solutions.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data quality and accessibility for analytical purposes.
• Monitor and optimize data workflows and performance within AWS services such as AWS Glue, Amazon S3, and Amazon Redshift.
• Implement data governance and security measures to safeguard sensitive information.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in AWS services related to data engineering, including but not limited to AWS Glue, Amazon S3, and Amazon Redshift.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or SQL.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark or Hadoop.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Amazon QuickSight.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and frameworks.

Experience

• Minimum of 0 years of experience in data engineering or related fields. Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
