Job Summary

We are excited to offer a full-time opportunity for the role of Java Backend Developer. The selected candidate will be instrumental in developing and maintaining backend systems, contributing to the company’s commitment to delivering innovative and effective technology solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement robust REST APIs for seamless integration with frontend and third-party services.
• Understand and apply microservices architecture in application development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Write clean, maintainable code and conduct peer code reviews to ensure code quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner, ensuring optimal application performance.

Qualifications

• 4.5+ years of experience in backend development.
• Proficiency in Java, particularly with frameworks like Spring Boot.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and basic cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with front-end technologies like Angular or React is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).

Experience

• A minimum of 4.5 years of relevant experience in software development, focusing on backend technologies.

Environment

• Work location is primarily in Bangalore with opportunities for collaboration at the Brookfield Office and JP Nagar Office.
