This role will oversee all aspects of supply chain management, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, distribution, and supplier relationships, while ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and EPR mandates. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with top management, collaborate across departments, and contribute to strategic decisions that shape the company’s future. Key Responsibilities: 1. Procurement Planning and Execution · Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies for various product families across diverse raw materials, geographies and vendors. · Oversee the execution of procurement plans, ensuring alignment with sales forecasts and production requirements. · Optimize procurement processes to balance responsiveness and efficiency across different product categories and geographical regions. 2. Inventory Management and Control · Develop and implement inventory management strategies based on aggregated sales forecasts and production needs. · Establish and maintain optimal inventory levels across regional hubs and the central facility. · Implement robust inventory control systems to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of all materials. 3. Network Planning, Design, and Execution · Design and optimize the supply chain network, including the development of regional hub-and-spoke models. · Oversee the implementation of efficient and responsive logistics and distribution systems across India. · Continuously evaluate and improve the network design to support the company's growth and diversification strategy. 4. Supplier Management · Lead supplier discovery initiatives, leveraging both traditional and digital methods to expand the supplier base across India. · Oversee the supplier onboarding process, ensuring compliance with company standards and EPR mandates. · Develop and nurture relationships with key suppliers, implementing strategies to strengthen the informal sector network. 5. Team Leadership and Development · Build, lead, and nurture high-performing teams across all supply chain functions. · Set clear KPIs and KRAs for team leads and individual team members, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. · Implement training and development programs to enhance team capabilities and support career growth. 6. Performance Management and Optimization · Establish and track key performance metrics across the supply chain function. · Identify areas for improvement and implement optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. · Collaborate with the Digital Transformation team to leverage AI/ML technologies for supply chain optimization. 7. Strategic Planning and Innovation · Contribute to the company's overall strategic planning process, providing insights on supply chain capabilities and opportunities. · Drive innovation in supply chain processes, exploring new technologies and methodologies to maintain competitive advantage. · Collaborate with the Head of Strategic Support and Central Ops to ensure alignment of supply chain strategies with overall business goals. 8. Compliance and Risk Management · Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including EPR mandates and global auditing standards (e.g., ISCC3, Ocean Bound, SEDEX). · Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions and volatility.   9. Stakeholder Management · Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Production, Finance) to ensure seamless integration of supply chain operations with other business functions. · Manage relationships with external partners, including logistics providers, technology vendors, and industry associations.   Qualifications · Master's degree in supply chain management, operations, or related field; MBA preferred. · 15+ years of experience in end-to-end supply chain management, with at least 8 years in senior leadership roles. · Proven track record in managing complex supply chains, preferably in the recycling, waste management, or related industries. · Strong understanding of procurement strategies, inventory management, and logistics optimization. · Experience in implementing and managing digital supply chain solutions, including ERP systems and advanced analytics tools. · Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization. · Experience working with informal sector networks and understanding of the Indian waste management ecosystem is highly desirable.   </div> <div> </div> <div> </div>
