Job Summary

The Senior Principal Engineer - GenAI will leverage over 15 years of IT experience to drive innovation in the field of Generative AI. This role focuses on the development, fine-tuning, and deployment of advanced AI models across multiple domains. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall goals of the organization by utilizing expertise in AI and machine learning technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of Generative AI solutions across various domains such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), Natural Language Generation (NLG), and Computer Vision.
• Fine-tune and train Large Language Models (LLMs) to meet specific business requirements.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient model deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing applications while ensuring adherence to security best practices.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in the area of AI and machine learning.

Qualifications

• Education: PhD preferred in Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
• Experience: 15+ years of IT experience; 5+ years in at least 2 AI domains such as NLP, NLG, Computer Vision, or Machine Learning.
• Technical Skills:
  • Extensive knowledge of cloud services and tools, preferably Azure (e.g., Azure Machine Learning, Vertex AI, Databricks, Azure OpenAI).
  • Proficient in LLM Python libraries such as langchain, langGraph, promptflow, semantic kernel, and Autogen.
  • Strong software engineering background, including application development and API integration, with fastAPI and Asyncio being a plus.
  • Experience with Generative AI model deployment and monitoring, including CI/CD, Weight & Biases, and GitHub pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in developing applications, frontend integration, and familiarity with Azure DevOps and Azure Service Bus.

Experience

• Minimum of 15 years of overall IT experience, with a focus on Generative AI technologies for at least the last 5 years.
