Job Summary

The SAP Fiori Developer plays a critical role in developing and enhancing user-friendly applications within the SAP Fiori development environment. The position requires expertise in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, along with strong knowledge of SAP UI5 and OData services. The developer is expected to contribute to the organization's goals by delivering high-quality Fiori applications that meet user requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance SAP Fiori/UI5 applications, including custom controls, XML/JS views, and manifest.json files.
• Integrate third-party JavaScript/REST SDKs, such as Scandit Web SDK for barcode scanning and RFID.
• Consume and extend OData v2/v4 services, including Gateway and RAP.
• Deploy and troubleshoot Fiori applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), specifically using Business Application Studio and Cloud Foundry.
• Participate in code reviews and conduct unit testing to ensure high-quality code.

Qualifications

• Education:
  • BE/B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science or IT with 4 years of experience in SAP Fiori Development;
  • OR Engineering Graduate (any discipline)/BCA/BSc in Computer Science/IT/Electronics/MSc in Computer Science/IT/Electronics with 5 years of experience in SAP Development and SAP Certified Fiori Developer.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 Fundamentals.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP UI5 MVC framework, routing, and component preload.
  • Experience in consuming OData services and comfortable with JSON and annotation-driven models.
  • Familiarity with third-party SDK integration (at least one library).
  • Strong knowledge of SAP BTP services, including deployment, destinations, and connectivity.
  • Exposure to SAP Business Application Studio and Web IDE development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with advanced debugging and troubleshooting techniques in SAP development environments.

Experience

• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in SAP Fiori development or a related SAP development environment.
