Job Title Head- Academic Consultant

Location Bengaluru
Purpose
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Academic Head to lead our educational initiatives with a strong
focus on fostering learning and career progression. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of business
acumen, operational excellence, pedagogical expertise, and a deep understanding of educational products.
The Academic Head will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, and ensuring
operational efficiency while adhering to best practices in pedagogy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Invested in People Development:
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and career progression within the team.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
2. Business Acumen:
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of running Profit and Loss (P&L)
- Drive revenue generation through effective upselling, cross-selling, and key account management
strategies.
3. Operational Excellence:
- Strategize for scale and long-term success by optimizing systems, processes, and standardization efforts.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of online vs. offline educational delivery methods and make informed
decisions accordingly.
4. Pedagogical Expertise:
- Possess a deep understanding of curriculums, assessments, and best practices in the domain of
pedagogy.
- Ensure alignment of educational initiatives with pedagogical principles and standards.
5. Product Knowledge:
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our educational products and services.
- Collaborate with the product team to provide feedback and contribute to product enhancements.
Skill & Will
Must Have • Experience in managing and leading teams, with a focus on
fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Willingness to work in the field and travel as required to support
educational initiatives.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building
relationships and providing product consultations to key
stakeholders.
• Ability to gather, analyze, and leverage market and competitor
intelligence to drive strategic decision-making.
Knowledge, Experience & Qualification
1. Graduate/Post Graduate/MBA in any discipline.
2. Minimum 8-12 years of experience in educational leadership roles with a proven track record of
success.
3. Experience of interaction with clients (schools) directly
4. Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PPT; Good Presentation skills
