<div><strong>Manager Sales – Technical Commodity Sales</strong></div>
<div>Background</div>
<div>Banyan Nation has driven large multi-national brands to make over one billion bottles from its human contact safe post consumer recycled (PCR) plastics and helped replace over 10,000 tons of virgin polymer with recycled plastics in the last 3 years. Banyan has been successful at convincing large brands like Unilever, Reckitt and others to use its premium recycled PCR in mainstream primary products and packaging. Banyan also produces Commodity polymers that can be used for various direct virgin substitution and compounded applications – including but not limited to pipes, cables, electronics, etc. Banyan is looking for a dynamic polymer sales person with deep knowledge of polyolefin applications and experience selling commodity polymers. The position is based in Hyderabad but may require travel. This is an individual contribution role.</div>

<div><strong>Responsibilities and Tasks</strong></div>
<div> </div>
<div>• Build a rolodex of potential customers for Banyan’s commodity grades in both HDPE and PP across the country and across various applications.</div>
<div>• Sell 100 – 150 tons of commodity polymer every month at opportunistic prices based on sound understanding of the general market, and local application context.</div>
<div>• Track price movements in the market and react to opportunities that short term price movements present.</div>
<div>• Work with the procurement, production, warehouse, logistics and quality teams to complete the sales lifecycle – from communication customer demand to fulfilling orders in a timely way. Skills Needed</div>
<div>• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and highly accountable individual with a “hustler” mentality.</div>

<div><strong>Sales skills </strong></div>
<div>• Understanding of product costing and basic P&L</div>
<div>• Deep understanding of HDPE and PP polymers, compounds, and their applications</div>
<div>• Experience selling over 100 tons of HDPE and PP on a monthly basis</div>
<div>• Existing network of (and relationships with) potential customers.</div>
<div>• Demonstrated high level of integrity and commitment to profitable sales</div>
