<p><b>Associate Director &ndash; Finance Controller (Valmo)</b></p> <p><b>Location:</b> Bengaluru</p> <p><b>Reports To:</b> Group Controller</p> <p><b>About the Role:</b></p> <p>We are looking for a finance leader to anchor the controllership and cost integrity for <b>Valmo</b>, our</p> <p>in-house logistics and fulfillment platform. This is a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy,</p> <p>cost visibility, and audit preparedness for a fast-scaling, operationally intensive business unit.</p> <p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p> <p>●</p> <p><b>Own end-to-end financial integrity</b> of Valmo, including monthly close, reconciliations,</p> <p>and audit.</p> <p>●</p> <p><b>Review and validate fulfillment cost models</b> with input from operations, product, and</p> <p>analytics.</p> <p>●</p> <p><b>Ensure accurate provisioning</b> for costs, returns, damages, incentives, and other linked</p> <p>costs.</p> <p>●</p> <p>Act as a single<b> point of accountability</b> for cost reporting to internal finance and</p> <p>auditors.</p> <p>●</p> <p><b>Drive automation of manual processes</b> (e.g. payouts, validations, etc. ) in partnership</p> <p>with product/tech/ analytical teams.</p> <p>●</p> <p>Build <b>robust internal controls</b> across shipping cost, warehouse expenses, and</p> <p>third-party logistics contracts.</p> <p>●</p> <p><b>Ensure no missed liabilities, margin surprises, or audit flags</b> through strong</p> <p>governance and review routines.</p> <p>●</p> <p>Facilitate <b>quarterly consistency and segmental transparency</b> in reporting and</p> <p>analysis.</p> <p><b>Qualifications:</b></p> <p>●</p> <p>Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8&ndash;12 years of post-qualification experience.</p> <p>●</p> <p>Proven experience in <b>controllership</b>, preferably in <b>logistics, ecommerce, or</b></p> <p><b>operations-heavy</b> environments.</p> <p>●</p> <p>Strong understanding of <b>IND-AS, audit closure, cost control</b>, and <b>internal controls</b>.</p> <p>●</p> <p>Experience driving <b>automation in finance processes</b> is a strong plus.</p> <p>●</p> <p>Highly collaborative with ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.</p>
