Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to oversee accounting operations for a group of companies, preferably within the diamond industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, compliance, taxation, and overall financial management across multiple entities, contributing to the organization’s financial integrity and growth.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end accounting processes for multiple group companies.
• Prepare and finalize financial statements including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, and Cash Flow Statement.
• Ensure statutory compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and ROC filings.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures.
• Coordinate with auditors, bankers, and consultants to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Oversee inter-company transactions and reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with IND AS (Indian Accounting Standards) and other relevant accounting standards.
• Supervise and guide junior accounting team members.
• Handle inventory accounting, preferably within the diamond/gems industry.
• Manage costing, stock valuation, and margin analysis.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience, preferably in the diamond or gems industry.
• Proven experience in handling multiple companies/group structures.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and ROC compliance.
• Proficiency in Tally, ERP systems, and Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
• Educational qualification: CA (Chartered Accountant).

Preferred Skills

• Experience in diamond industry accounting, including stock management, valuation, and import/export procedures.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Experience

• 10+ years of relevant experience, with a focus on financial management in the diamond or gems industry.
• Experience in managing group companies and complex financial structures.

• The role is based in Ichhapore, Surat.
