PHP Developer

Job Summary

The PHP Developer will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining web applications using PHP and related technologies. This role is essential in ensuring high-performance and scalable web solutions that meet business requirements. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and user-friendly applications that drive the company’s digital presence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dynamic web applications using PHP.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with designers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to integrate user-facing elements.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proficiency in PHP programming.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Knowledge of SQL/MySQL databases.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Exposure to cloud services (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

Experience

• Minimum 0 years of relevant experience (freshers are welcome).
• Any internships or project experience in PHP development will be considered an advantage.

Salary

• Estimated salary range: ₹0.5 lakh – ₹2,40,000 per annum.
