Sales Executive Intern – On-Ground Promotions & Sales
Job Summary
Join Pentad Education as a Sales Executive Intern – On-Ground Promotions & Sales and be at the forefront of our mission to promote Sukruthi – our Kannada learning kit and the SkillSprout MI Test to children across Bangalore. This dynamic, field-based internship is perfect for energetic individuals who thrive on engaging conversations, relationship-building, and hands-on sales. You will be responsible for on-ground sales, live product demonstrations, and representing our brand at a variety of educational and community venues.
Responsibilities
- Travel within and around HSR Layout, Bangalore, to promote and sell Sukruthi Kits and SkillSprout MI Test.
- Visit pre-schools, playgroups, activity centres, apartments, and mall kiosks to build relationships and expand outreach.
- Identify new sales leads and creatively pitch product offerings to parents, teachers, and decision-makers.
- Conduct live demos, explain product benefits, and address customer queries at events and exhibitions.
- Set up stalls, organize events, and participate in local fairs for product promotion.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow-ups.
- Provide daily progress updates to the core team and contribute innovative ideas to optimize outreach strategies.
Qualifications
- Open to college students, fresh graduates, and gap year explorers.
- Minimum educational qualification: Ongoing or completed undergraduate degree (any discipline).
- Highly motivated and self-driven with a passion for face-to-face communication and field sales.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Kannada is a significant advantage.
- Strong negotiation, sales management, and selling skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Passionate about education, early childhood learning, and community engagement.
- Comfortable with extensive field travel and approaching new people.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in Kannada language.
- Prior experience in sales, retail, or customer-facing roles.
- Ability to own and operate a two-wheeler for field travel.
- Knowledge of selling techniques, sales strategy, and retail selling.
- Interest or background in edtech or early childhood education.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in sales, retail selling, or customer engagement preferred.
- Experience in on-ground promotions, lead generation, or event management is a plus.
Environment
- Location: HSR Layout, Bengaluru; field-based role requiring regular travel within the city.
- Work involves visiting schools, community centres, residential complexes, and malls.
- Fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment with direct access to the founding team.
- Not a desk job; requires mobility, adaptability, and proactive communication.
Salary
- Annual CTC: ₹120,000 – ₹180,000 (Stipend for internship duration).
