Job Summary

The Senior Performance Test Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and effectiveness of software applications through rigorous performance testing. This position involves identifying performance issues, conducting performance tests, and providing actionable insights to improve application performance, thereby contributing to the overall goals of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute performance test plans and test cases for various applications.
• Analyze performance test results and identify bottlenecks in the system architecture.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve performance-related issues.
• Utilize performance testing tools to simulate various user loads and monitor system behavior.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on testing findings, metrics, and recommendations for enhancements.
• Advocate for performance best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in performance testing and test automation.
• Strong knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages like Java, C#, or Python.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with monitoring tools for application performance analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of cloud-based application performance testing.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Certifications in performance testing or quality assurance.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in performance testing.

Environment

The candidate will be expected to work in a dynamic team environment with opportunities for remote or hybrid work setups. The specific work location options include Bhopal, Jaipur, Gurgaon, Chennai, and Pune.

Salary

• Estimated rate of 1.2 LPM (Lakhs Per Month) for experienced candidates.
