<meta charset="UTF-8" /> <p>Sidecar builds AI</p> <p>to run the global supply chain.</p> <p>Ever wonder how your phone got to you from a factory in Shenzhen?</p> <p>Or how the jacket you ordered from Italy made it to your door in 5 days?</p> <p>Behind every shipment is a freight forwarding company &mdash; a logistics middleman coordinating</p> <p>ships, customs, warehouses, and trucks across continents.</p> <p>These companies still run on emails, spreadsheets, PDFs, and terminal software from 1998.</p> <p>Their teams manually extract info from documents, and respond to hundreds of emails and phone</p> <p>calls daily to execute business specific workflows.</p> <p>Sidecar&nbsp;is a 24*7 Virtual AI Teammate for these Logistics Service Providers that calls, emails</p> <p>and logs into systems and everything else to execute a complex task.</p> <p>We are hiring a Founding AI Engineer.</p> <p>Here&rsquo;s what you&rsquo;ll work on:</p> <p>Browser-native AI agents that can operate any TMS/ERP, even those with no APIs</p> <p>Document &amp; email understanding systems</p> <p>LLM-powered agents with memory, tool-use, and real-world edge-cases</p> <p>Fault tolerant, low latency Voice AI systems</p> <p>Core infrastructure for building and monitoring thousands of autonomous workflows</p> <p>We are backed by leading Silicon Valley VC&rsquo;s, Angel Investors and Industry Advisors and pay top-</p> <p>bracket salaries alongside equity compensations.Here is a short checklist to gauge</p> <p>if we would be the right fit for you.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Demonstrable experience creating AI-first production grade automation solutions.</p> <p>Advanced skills in scripting languages: Python and JavaScript.</p> <p>Practical experience with JavaScript frameworks and TypeScript, especially for React.</p> <p>Experience in building scalable back-end infra and API Integrations.</p> <p>Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Google Cloud Platform.</p> <p>Comfortable with virtual development environments and tools (pip, uv, etc.).</p> <p>Excellent problem-solving skills, creativity, and autonomy in technical execution.</p> <p>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).</p> <p>Preferred Skills</p> <p>Experience working with OpenAI API or similar AI/ML platforms.</p> <p>Startup experience or previous roles in fast-paced, high-growth environments.</p> <p>Willingness and ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.</p> <p>Experience</p> <p>related fields.</p> <p>Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in full-stack development, AI-driven automation, or</p> <p>Proven track record in building and deploying production-grade AI solutions.</p> <p>Experience with logistics, supply chain, or similar domains is a plus but not required.</p> <p>We work 996 out of our offices in San Francisco and Bangalore.</p> <p>We are highly selective and believe in only hiring and retaining the best.</p>
