Job Summary

The DTICI FP&A Process Analyst plays a crucial role in integrating foreign locations into a global financial planning and forecasting platform. This position supports the digitization strategy in financial controlling and is expected to standardize, automate, and digitize essential financial processes. The candidate will work independently and collaboratively with colleagues globally to enhance the effectiveness of financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Integration and Data Modeling: Examine and integrate diverse booking systems and logics from different legal entities into the existing data model.
• Problem Solving and Decision Making: Identify integration difficulties and develop alternative solutions using strategic thinking.
• Process Analysis and Standardization: Analyze current processes and implement standards in alignment with project teams, ensuring integration into the existing data model/tool.
• Further Development of Implemented Processes: Continuously improve processes such as forecasting and standard reporting, focusing on innovation and attention to detail.
• Lead Process Reviews: Conduct end-to-end reviews of financial processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Evaluate Financial Systems: Assess existing financial systems, identify gaps, and propose enhancements to improve usability and automation.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA (Finance).
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years in FP&A/Controlling, with a hands-on approach to digital finance tools.
• Financial Accounting Knowledge: Understanding of workflows including accruals, purchase to payment, and record to report.
• Industry Experience: Familiarity with R&D/Engineering organizations or Global Capability Centers (GCC).
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel, PowerBI, and PowerPoint, with advanced data analysis and financial modeling abilities.
• ERP Knowledge: Functional knowledge of SAP ERP, specifically in FICO, SD, MM modules (knowledge of PS module is a plus).
• Leadership Skills: Strong project management capabilities with experience in driving cross-functional initiatives.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills to engage various organizational levels.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of IGAAP and taxation.
• Ability to generate simplified reports and insights from complex financial data.

Experience

• Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in FP&A/Controlling, with significant involvement in finance digital tools.
