Develop and implement an IT strategy that aligns with the company's
business goals and objectives. This includes identifying technology
trends and opportunities to enhance investment management
processes, client services, and operational efficiency.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the
company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases,
and storage systems. Ensure that the infrastructure is scalable, secure,
and reliable to support the company's growing business needs.
• Implement robust data management practices to ensure the integrity,
security, and accessibility of investment data.
• Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity measures to
protect sensitive investment data, client information, and intellectual
property from cyber threats and data breaches. i.e. implementing
firewalls, encryption, intrusion detection systems, and conducting
regular security audits and assessments.
• Ensure that the company's IT systems and processes comply with
relevant regulatory requirements, such as SEBI, SEC regulations, GDPR,
and industry best practices.
• Oversee the development, customization, and integration of software
applications and platforms used for investment management,
portfolio analytics, risk assessment, and client relationship
management.
• Develop and maintain robust disaster recovery and business
continuity plans to ensure uninterrupted operation of critical IT
systems and services in the event of natural disasters, cyber-attacks,
or other disruptions.
• Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and
outsourcing partners to ensure quality service delivery, adherence to
service level agreements (SLAs), and cost-effective procurement of
technology solutions and services.
• Identify and assess IT risks, including operational, financial, and
compliance risks, and implement controls and mitigation strategies to
minimize exposure and ensure business continuity.
• Manage Internal/Externals Audits as per standards and regulatory
requirements-for all the departments to ensure compliance with
organization policy and procedures.
• Ensuring that no internal breaches or misuse of data take place.
• Determining the cause of internal and external data
breaches and instituting appropriate corrective action.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills.
